more likes on Sun God than my personal average (156)
I didn’t have to explain why a tiny camera matters. In a crowd where I nearly lost my phone it was obvious, and nothing I could have staged would have shown it better.
Insta360 · GO Ultra · Campus Creator
Six short videos for Insta360’s campus program, made the same way each time: find a moment students already have (a fit check, a study session, a festival), and let the camera be how it got filmed. Five went on my account, one on @ucsdcenters.
My partI shot and edited six GO Ultra videos: five for my own account, one for @ucsdcenters.

Sun God Festival 2026 — GO Ultra in the Crowd
“Sun God ft. GO Ultra. (I almost lost my phone.)”
The idea: Lead with what actually happened: I almost lost my phone, and the camera on my shirt kept rolling. The camera’s job: Small enough to wear into a festival crowd.

Borrowed audiences are big, and quiet
305
likes on This week at UCEN, the most of the six, but 1 comment
The events roundup on @ucsdcenters got the most likes and almost no comments. People who follow a student union like the weekly post and keep scrolling. Reach and conversation are different jobs.

13.2%
talk rate on Café study, the highest of the six
Opening on a question people could answer (“Couldn't studying be done anywhere?”) got more comments per like than asking for comments at the end of the outfit check did.

Every reel beat the last one
22→264
likes, from my first GO Ultra reel to my fifth
Five videos on my own account between March and May, and the like count went up every time. Some of that is my account growing and some is me getting better with the camera; likes can’t split the two.

Insights for these posts were never exported, so this page ranks on what anyone can see on the posts themselves. Likes favour big accounts; that’s why the talk rate is here, and why I read the @ucsdcenters result as reach, not resonance.
